Ovi Jr goal

Only 802 more to catch his old man.

Sergei Ovechkin, the four-year-old son of Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin, scored a goal at Washington Capitals practice on Friday.
Wearing a custom red home jersey with his father's familiar number 8 and "Ovi Jr." on the nameplate, Sergei slipped one right through the five hole of goalie Darcy Kuemper.

Kuemper was uncharacteristically late getting his pads down, but the goal brought huge applause from onlookers, including his dad, at the practice.
The elder Ovechkin might want to start working on his speech for when he gets passed by Sergei on the career goals list.
