Watson suspended two games for boarding

NEW YORK - Nashville Predators forward Austin Watsonhas been suspended for two games, without pay, for boarding Colorado Avalanche forward Dominic Toninato during NHL Game No. 302 in Nashville on Saturday, Nov. 18, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 11:47 of the first period. Watson was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Watson will forfeit $11,827.96. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
